Orient unit so small tab is facing you. Hold with two hands as show above in diagram 1.
Simply squeeze down with both hands and pull out. The unit will open as in diagram 2.
Insert an alkaline 'D' cell batter as indicated on inside cover of unit.
Lift snap ring on Mini-Scents can. Remove and discard the metal lid.
Select appropriate strength setting (below) and insert can into unit.

Mini-Scents Strength Settings

Your Mini-Scents unit comes with a plastic vented control lid. If desired, use this control lide to tone down the fragrance. For more fragrance, remove the control lid fully exposing the tops of the scent pads. If additional fragrance is needed, simply adjust squares as highlighted below.

Low - with vented Lid	Low	Medium	High

Open can and place vented control lid on top	Open can and use as is for this setting.	Open can and turn center wafer on end. Leave one end of each wafer on the bottom of the can	Open can, turn all wafers on end. Leave one end of each wafer on the bottom of the can.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY AFTER TOUCHING DEODORANT BLOCKS.
